Listed below is information that would be helpful for new families. There are many important links on the corresponding webpage to locations within the Breck website.
All parent/student information is located on the Parents section of the breckschool.org website. The Parents section homepage lists "4 Weeks Out," a perpetual calendar listing what’s happening for the next four weeks.

Back-to-school mailings are sent in August. Breck's school calendar and Student Handbook will be mailed to all families in mid-August. Lower School classroom information will be mailed about two weeks before the school year begins.
A weekly email full of information necessary for all divisions will be sent every Thursday to email addresses provided.
ReUse Sales (aka Used Uniform Sales) are in August and at conferences.
There are two retail stores that sell Breck uniforms:

Check uniform information in the Student Handbook, which is posted online. If your have a preschool or kindergarten student, they do not need uniforms and can wear what they choose.
Transportation is always an important question for new families. If you have questions about using Breck transportation, please feel free to contact Transportation Director Mark Ryks or call him at 763.381.8218.
The Breck Student Directory will be delivered/mailed within the first month of school.
The Parents Association is open to all parents of Breck students. We want to emphasize that ALL parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the All-School Parents Association meeting at the beginning of the school year. Parents are also encouraged to attend division meetings and grade-level meetings.
There are many great committees through the Parents Association. Joining these committees is a great yourself and your friends at the events.
Volunteer opportunities will be announced via email. Starting in the 2015-16 school year, parents will sign up using an online volunteer form. More information on this system to come.

At holiday time, teachers especially appreciate home-made gifts from the children. Gifts (home-made or otherwise) are always optional and should be whatever families are comfortable giving. Nothing extravagant is necessary.
Year-end gifts for Lower School teachers are handled through the classroom coordinator and information is given in April to the parents.
