Breck athletic teams are having a busy postseason.

The boys tennis team won its state tournament quarterfinal 7-0 over Duluth Marshall. They'll face the Blake Bears in the semifinals Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. at Read-Sweatt Tennis Center in Minneapolis. Individual state tournament play begins Thursday.

Eighth grader Anna Zumwinkle has qualified for the state girls golf tournament, and sophomore Max Schwartzman has qualified for the state boys golf tournament.

A number of track athletes will compete at the state meet this weekend after a great performance at the section finals. For the boys: Andrew Headrick in the 100 and the 200 and Geoffrey Hibbs in the shot put and the discus.For the girls: our 4 x 400 relay team (Halle Gustafson, Jaila Tolbert, Adria Duncan and Morgan Williams), Kira Hinz and Niara Hill in the long jump, and Nailah Hill in both the shot put and discus.

The baseball team will play in the section semifinals tonight vs. Rockford at Loretto.
