How do you know when to step in and when to step out of you child’s academic, social and emotional lives? Self-care advocate, speaker, author, teacher, mother of four children, and a 15-year Breck parent, Julie Burton offers important insights and strategies for parents to better understand where to draw the line between their kids’ lives and their own. She will share tried and true advice from her experiences of parenting her own four children (ages 22 to 12) along with hundreds of parents she interviewed for her award-winning book The Self-Care Solution: A Modern Mother’s Must-Have Guide to Health and Well-Being, which will be available for purchase for $12.00 (retail price $16.95).

The Breck Parenting Discussion Group meets throughout the school year focusing on topics such as personality and parenting, personal safety, boundaries, sexuality, and love languages. Come to one or all of the sessions. Facilitated by licensed Parent Educator, Kristin Shelley. All parents are welcome!
